Resolving Common Issues
Most problems with ThunderStrike 24 and Street Racer Blitz can be resolved quickly with one of the steps below.
Game Won't Load
Start with a hard refresh: press Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows/Linux or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac. This forces the browser to reload all assets fresh from the server. If that doesn't work, clear your browser cache (Settings → Privacy → Clear Browsing Data) and try again. Ensure your browser is fully up to date.
Slow or Choppy Performance
Close unused browser tabs and other applications running in the background. Enable hardware acceleration in your browser settings (usually found under Advanced Settings). Check that your device is not in a power-saving mode that limits CPU or GPU performance. A stable Wi-Fi or wired connection also helps significantly.
Controls Not Responding
Click directly on the game viewport before using keyboard controls — the browser needs focus on the game window. On mobile, ensure touch inputs are enabled in your browser settings. If you're using a gamepad or external controller, check that it is correctly recognized by your operating system first, then try refreshing the game page.
No Sound
Check that your device volume is not muted and that your browser is not muting the tab. In most browsers, right-click the browser tab and look for a "Unmute Tab" option. Also check your system sound settings and verify that the audio output device is correctly selected. The game requires system audio permissions to play sound.
Extensions Blocking Content
Ad blockers, privacy extensions, and script blockers can sometimes interfere with the platform loading correctly. Try disabling browser extensions temporarily and reloading the page. If this resolves the issue, re-enable extensions one at a time to identify the culprit, then whitelist 24thunderstrike.com in its settings.
Mobile Display Issues
If the layout appears distorted on your phone or tablet, check that your browser zoom is set to 100% (default). Avoid using desktop mode on mobile browsers for this site — the responsive design is specifically built for standard mobile view. Rotate your device to landscape mode for a wider game viewport experience.
Problem Still Not Resolved?
If none of the steps above resolve your issue, try the following before contacting support:
- Try a completely different browser to determine if the issue is browser-specific.
- Test on a different device if one is available to you.
- Check that your internet connection is stable by testing other sites or running a speed test.
- Restart your browser completely (close all windows, reopen).
- If you're on a corporate or shared network, check whether content filtering may be blocking the platform.

Choosing the Right Browser
Google Chrome
Version 100 and above. Chrome's V8 engine and WebGL support deliver the best overall performance. Our primary development and testing browser.
Mozilla Firefox
Version 100 and above. Excellent privacy features and strong WebGL performance. Recommended for players who prioritize privacy.
Apple Safari
Safari 15 and above on macOS and iOS. Particularly efficient on Apple Silicon Macs and iPhones. Ensure your macOS or iOS is kept up to date.
Microsoft Edge
Chromium-based Edge (version 100+) works well. Legacy Edge (pre-Chromium) is not supported. Update to the modern version for the best experience.
Regardless of your browser choice, always keep it updated to the latest available version. Browser updates include critical security patches, performance improvements, and WebGL enhancements that directly benefit your ThunderStrike 24 experience.
Inclusive Design at ThunderStrike 24
We are committed to making ThunderStrike 24 as accessible as possible to all Canadian adults. Here's what we currently support and what we're working toward.
Keyboard Navigation
All core site navigation and interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Tab through links and buttons, use Enter to activate, and use Escape to dismiss modals. Street Racer Blitz supports full keyboard-only gameplay.
Screen Reader Compatibility
Semantic HTML and ARIA labels are used throughout the site to support screen readers like NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver. We continuously improve our ARIA implementation based on accessibility audits and user feedback.
Contrast and Visual Design
Our color palette is designed with contrast ratios that meet WCAG AA guidelines for normal text. The copper and cream on dark backgrounds create a high-contrast reading experience. Text sizes are set in relative units that respond to browser font size preferences.
Touch and Motor Accessibility
Interactive elements are sized to meet minimum touch target guidelines. The platform works with assistive touch features on iOS and accessibility services on Android. We are actively developing additional motor accessibility options for Street Racer Blitz.
Reduced Motion Support
If your device or browser has reduced motion preferences enabled (via the prefers-reduced-motion media query), ThunderStrike 24 will automatically reduce or disable non-essential animations throughout the site interface.
